The Alde Feanen
In National Park de Alde Feanen, all kinds of plants, flowers and birds converge in a wetland. The area is located in the heart of Friesland, amid a number of picturesque villages and a stone's throw from Leeuwarden. A visit to the Alde Feanen is well worth it. You can enjoy swimming, adventurous climbing and you can hire a boat here.

11 Fountains
Eleven fountains in the eleven Frisian cities, designed by eleven artists from eleven different countries. The creators were not chosen at random: a match was sought between the artist's work and the character and history of the respective Eleven Cities town. The fountains are ready for a new season in which fog, ice, steam and seawater are the focus.
