Paved areas are available for campers. There are fun activities such as pool billiards, (indoor) badminton and canoeing. You can also swim in the nearby lake which has a grassy beach for sunbathing!

Less than a kilometre northeast of Leeuwarden is the village of Lekkum. Camper place Lekkum is located on the outskirts of the village.
