Open Jewish Houses and Houses of Resistance
Meet the former residents of Leeuwarden during Open Jewish Homes & Houses of Resistance. On Friday, 3 May , previously closed doors of houses, special and everyday locations in Leeuwarden will open to the public. We are commemorating former residents using personal memories, images and music. We encourage conversation and reflection with an interactive programme around the different places. The programme lasts from 1:00 to 5:00 pm and is free to the public.

During the programme, the stories about Bram and Eva Beem, the Burmaniahuis and Ruurd Rodenburg are told. Discover these events or do your own research in the Historical Center Leeuwarden.

Open Jewish Houses & Houses of Resistance Leeuwarden originated from a collaboration between the Frisian Resistance Museum, Historisch Centrum Leeuwarden (Historical Centre Leeuwarden) and Tresoar.
