Page Against the Machine: telephone off, book on!

Bring a book and something to drink and turn off your phone for a well-deserved 'detox read' in the beautiful Prinsentuin in Leeuwarden UNESCO City of Literature. Sit back in a comfortable reading chair and forget everything around you for a moment.
Page Against the Machine is an international event that brings together readers of all ages and backgrounds in Cities of Literature around the world to enjoy reading together on 25 May, 2024.

No book at hand, but would you like to participate? Before Page Against the Machine you can get a reading prescription at the Cultere Apotheek (Cultural Pharmacy). You can then buy or borrow a 'pill' from bookstore Van der Velde, children's bookstore De Toverlantern or borrow it from Tresoar or dbieb. Free trial medication is also provided.
