On Saturday, May 4, Slieker Film will screen Roman Polanski's masterpiece, winner of three Oscars and now restored in 4K. The Pianist tells the true life story of the brilliant young pianist and composer Wladyslaw Szpilman whose promising career was brutally interrupted by the start of World War II. Prior to the screening of The Pianist, the Frisian Resistance Museum has organized a themed tour of the museum.
