Autumn holidays in Leeuwarden Oh yeah!

Mark it in your calendar, because from Thursday 23 October until Sunday 26 October, De Harmonie will turn into a world full of stories and imagination, for everyone aged 0 to 12. With music, theatre and dance performances, special artworks and free activities in the foyer, you’ll find there aren’t enough hours in the day. Transform yourself in the DingenDepot into a superhero or a dream figure. Would you rather create your own world of adventure? You can in the WereldWerkplaats (World Workshop). Need to escape for a while? Lie back in the hammocks of the Mini Relaxerette. In this rotating installation, music, stories and imagination will take you away. Close your eyes, listen, and completely unwind. Or pick up a book and relax in the ZenZone. Which adventure will you choose? 

It’s Dinoweken (Dino Weeks) again at AquaZoo Leeuwarden! Do you dare to come and visit them? More than 20 life-sized dinosaurs are hiding throughout AquaZoo. Go on an adventure and before you know it, you’ll find yourself face-to-face not only with tigers, polar bears and crocodiles, but also with flying, swimming and roaring dinosaurs! Careful now – don’t get too scared...

During the autumn holidays, the Natuurmuseum (Nature Museum) is open every single day – and the programme is bursting with fun! Visit Hiep, Hap, Hoera! and get hands-on with the food of the future. Looking for a real adventure? Then come and explore the museum after dark during the Coole Kidsnacht. (Cool Kids Night)
