Emmakade Antiek is a unique antique and interior shop located in Leeuwarden. Our extensive assortment has been carefully selected and displayed in an atmospheric and inspiring manner. For every type of interior, we sell special items that you will enjoy for a lifetime.
We sell pottery, Art Deco, Art Nouveau, Asian art, sculptures, curiosities, vintage, stained glass, glassware, lamps, furniture, jewelry, mirrors, and more.
Emmakade Antiek at Emmakade 2 is located in a monumental canal house (built in 1906), just a few minutes' walk from Leeuwarden's city centre. We, Herman Dolstra and Joke van Houten, have always had a passion for unique antique items. In 1988, this led to a small shop in our home at Emmakade 4. It occupied a small side room, the hallway, the attic, and later the front room. When the neighbours' property at number 2 came up for sale in 1994, we turned it into our shop. We quit our jobs in education and poured all our energy into the business.
