How can we live and dwell on and with the water?
The impact of water on our living environment is growing. How can we build a landscape full of perspective but also sometimes literally build ín the landscape? A landscape with room for water to live with - but also on - and to move with the different seasons.
Architecture and landscape architecture students from the Netherlands and Sweden have created sketches that imagine this kind of landscape.bThis design-based research project, WATERAARDE, explores alternative possibilities for the future of the Frisian peat meadow region. The exhibition, shaped as a life-sized mosaic, offers a glimpse into the changing landscape of this future.
