Fling brings traditional Irish music vividly to life, with a diverse repertoire that includes both timeless classics and original compositions.
In an atmosphere reminiscent of mystical stone circles, peat fires and grey mountains, the band keeps alive the pure tradition of sharing and passing on music.

Let yourself be carried away by the melancholic sound of the Uilleann pipes, passionate vocals, the rugged Donegal fiddle, bright-sounding strings and the enchanting wooden transverse flute. Lose yourself in ballads and stories of adventurers, rogues, maidens, drowned books and lost swans.

Annemarie de Bie, internationally acclaimed as a leading vocalist, also plays the Irish wooden flute, bodhrán and guitar.

Evertjan ’t Hart, founder and arranger of Fling, shapes the band’s distinctive sound with his Uilleann pipes, whistles and bouzouki. He is internationally recognised as a maker of Uilleann pipes and has appeared in programmes such as Vrije Geluiden and Podium Witteman.

Anna Marije van der Leest adds further depth with her powerful fiddle playing.

Admission is €15.00; children up to and including 12 years €2.50 (including a drink during the interval).

Parking space near the church is limited. Visitors can park free of charge, within short walking distance, at the large car park opposite Intratuin (south side of Tijnjedijk).
