House of Taste

In 2009, Jan-Tjip Douwstra, with many years of experience in the hospitality industry and an above-average interest in food and drinks, started importing olive oil and vinegar from Tuscany (Italy) to sell it as a wholesaler to catering and specialty stores across the country. Over the years, the House of Taste range has expanded with various delicacies from home and abroad. This means that food service companies can also be supplied.

In addition to this wholesale function, House of Taste is also frequently present at various food events and markets. 'Taste & Experience' is the motto of House of Taste and we like to do that. In May 2015, we opened our first delicatessen store in the Kleine Kerkstraat in Leeuwarden. With a large part of our own range, we have further filled the store with wonderfully beautiful delicacies from home and abroad with which you can experience the taste and experience yourself. Think of domestic and foreign cheeses, sausages, nuts, meat products, wines, etc.

In addition to daily shopping items, we also provide snacks, meals, lunch, sandwiches and snacks for every occasion through the store. From small to large groups, we like to think along with you.
