Leeuwarden city walking tours
A city walk through the old court city of Leeuwarden
The city walking tour starts on the Nieuwestad (Duco Martenapijp). Via the Kleine Kerkstraat we walk to the Oldehoofsterkerkhof, then through the Grote Kerkstraat to St. Anthoon, the plague house, to the Grote Kerk church via the highest point of the city and the house of Mata Hari we walk to the Gouverneursplein square and then through the Bagijnestraat back to the Nieuwestad. During the walk, our guide will tell you about all kinds of interesting facts, such as where the ancestors of our royal family lived, the birthplace of Escher and much more. Too much to mention. The walking distance of this city walk is about 1½ km. A city walking tour of 90 minutes costs € 35 per group (2-15 people).
