World history brings an Indo-Dutch family and a Frisian–Groningen family to live next door to each other in Leeuwarden in the late 1950s.

The performance Elkaars andere – A Plea for Naïve Curiosity tells the story of two neighbouring girls from very different families: Margriet Kemper and Froukje Reitsema. They discover each other’s worlds, and these are worlds that do not frighten them, but instead awaken curiosity. World history brings an Indo-Dutch family and a Frisian–Groningen family to live side by side in Leeuwarden in the late 1950s. The performance lasts approximately 60 minutes. After a short break, there will be an opportunity for a post-show discussion.
