'Elkaars andere' by Margriet Kemper and Froukje Reitsema
until 25 January
World history brings an Indo-Dutch family and a Frisian–Groningen family to live next door to each other in Leeuwarden in the late 1950s.
The theatrical storytelling performance ‘The Other of Each Other – A Plea for Naive Curiosity’ tells the story of two neighbouring girls from very different families: Margriet Kemper and FroukjeReitsema. They discover each other’s worlds — worlds that do not inspire fear, but spark curiosity instead. Due to the course of world history, an Indo family and a Frisian-Groningen family come to live next door to each other in Leeuwarden in the late 1950s. The performance lasts approximately 60 minutes. After a short break, there is an opportunity for a post-performance discussion.
