About the Sjûks
You may know it from films or a holiday: one of those Eastern-style bazaars where your eyes and ears can barely keep up. Where every step brings something new, and the world seems full of unexpected wonders. During Arcadia 2025, you can experience five different editions of this, each with a different theme — but all rooted in one idea: making a circular, sustainable difference.

Imagination, craftsmanship, and mienskip (community) power the Sjûks:
Artists asking imaginative questions, gardeners with green thumbs, entrepreneurs on a mission, stilt-walkers with a long view, mienskippers with blossoming projects, and children full of creative ideas… During Sjûks, the air will be crackling with energy! Whether you're grabbing a coffee, bringing something, finding something, or diving into a session — there’s something here for everyone.

Each Sjûk starts at 11:00 am and flows into the early evening with music, dance, and good food. Every edition has its own unique theme.
