Tile full of sea secrets: make it yourself with clay and plaster
In the soil under the Oldehove, fossil remains of shellfish have been found: silent witnesses of a salty past. Let this remarkable history inspire you to create your own unique tile. During this workshop, you'll press shells and fossils into clay to make an imprint. Then you'll pour plaster into the mould resulting in a beautiful embossed tile.
This event takes place in the Maakruimte (Maker's area) in Bouwurk at the Oldehoofsterkerkhof in Leeuwarden, Friesland.
