This event is part of 150 Years of Mata Hari. We are celebrating this anniversary year in Leeuwarden with art, dance, theater, parties, exhibitions, tours, and much more. The program runs from May 23 to August 7 (Mata Hari's birthday) and can be found here .

On this city walk, you will hear the story of Mata Hari. Together with a guide, you will visit the places where she lived, who her best friend was, and where she went to school. You will also seek out the places that played a role in her later life, such as the theater and the prison. This tour was originally created in 2017 for the Mata Hari exhibition at the Fries Museum.
