Long ago, in a distant past, the great land of Frisia was ruled by a legendary king. His name was Redbad, the greatest ruler these lands had ever known. More than a thousand years after his death, the Fries Museum sheds new light on the mighty King of the North Sea in an epic exhibition.

This autumn, the entire Fries Museum is devoted to the Middle Ages, with a programme of talks, workshops and special events. In the museum café, you can sink your teeth into a Redbad Burger, and before you leave, don't forget to pick up the board game Mythwatch: The Age of Redbad or a bottle of Redbad & Tseudesinde beer from Grutte Pier Brewery.
