This successful lecture series has become a familiar and much-valued part of dbieb’s programme. Each evening focuses on a different book. Leading specialists — many of them affiliated with the Faculty of Arts at the University of Groningen — discuss literary works in depth.

This successful lecture series has become a familiar and valued part of dbieb’s programme. Each evening focuses on a different book. Leading specialists — many of them affiliated with the Faculty of Arts at the University of Groningen — discuss a literary work that is currently receiving significant attention. You’re welcome to attend even if you haven’t read the book yet. This year, the programme also includes an additional lecture on children’s literature: Thought-Provoking Books Junior.
