The ‘double murder’ of Hylke de Wit and Peter Jaenicke in Singelstraat, the murders of Theo de Roos and Johan de Jong during robberies, the fire on De Kelders, the death of Mient Peper caused by a firework bomb, the murder of Henk Glim at the funfair, the unsolved cases involving Roelof Steinvoorte and Tevfik Igli, and the stories of René Bons and Willem Vonk, who were killed by police gunfire. These and many other cases feature in Henk Dillerop’s new book about forty years of murder and other unpleasantness in Leeuwarden (1975–2015). During this event, Dillerop will present his book and talk about these high-profile cases.
