Canal Cruises through the Canals and Waterways of Leeuwarden
The volunteer organisation Stichting Praamvaren Leeuwarden organises group canal cruises through the canals and waterways.
The foundation operates five electrically powered open boats (pramen) with a total capacity of 122 passengers. Each cruise includes a skipper and a guide on board.
All boats are certified for optimal safety by the Shipping Inspection Authority.
Our skippers are fully licensed and skilfully navigate the boats through the canals and waterways. Meanwhile, the well-trained guide shares interesting facts and stories about the city and its historic buildings. Canal cruises through the canals and waterways of Leeuwarden. All cruises include a skipper and a guide. During the winter season, blankets are provided on board.
