Photography exhibitions: Family Stories, Portraits Up Close and People and Place
12 and 13 September
Portraiture takes centre stage in this exhibition by the three Fotofabryk workshops.
It offers a wonderful opportunity to explore this fascinating genre of photography from a variety of perspectives.
The exhibitions are entitled:
Family Stories, Portraits Up Close and People and Place.
Family Stories
The members of Workshop 1 were taught by photographer Ringel Goslinga and challenged to explore stories from their own families.
Portraits Up Close
The members of Workshop 2 were taught by photographer David Vroom. They were asked to photograph people without showing their faces. What can you reveal about someone in this way?
People and Place
The members of Workshop 3 were taught by photographer Jeroen Toirkens. They were challenged to use a particular place to tell us something about the people they portrayed.
What can a place reveal about a person?
