Folks café meet-ups and Folks kitchen were created by Explore the North in collaboration with Sedrana. The project is supported by the Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds and Over de Drempel (Arcadia).
At Knutsel-Up, you can take part in creative activities while enjoying good conversation. There’s a jewellery-making workshop led by Hyam Saad, and Merel Gietema will host a workshop on how to bind your own little books. Feel free to bring something along — like your knitting — and connect with others while making something beautiful together.
Knutsel-Up is part of the Folks café Meet-ups, where connection and community are key. Connect with people from your own culture — so you can feel at home even when far from home — and meet people from other cultures, each with their own unique story that may just change how you see the world.
