Prison Tour Blokhuispoort
Step into the shoes of an inmate and let yourself be amazed.
Every Saturday and Sunday, we organize an open tour of the historic prison De Blokhuispoort. An exciting building with masterful stories about escapes and the rough life in prison, told by former guards. We take a look inside the impressive cell block of the A-wing. Let yourselves be guided around the courtyard and squares, and marvel at the bunker and, of course, the isolation cells in the cellars of this “castle”.
- Saturday starts at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.
- Sunday starts at 11:00 AM
We will gather at the main entrance of the Blokhuispoort. Our guide will give you a warm welcome here.

- Reservations are required
- Changing or cancelling up to 24 hours in advance is free.
- Children up to 5 years free; up to 8 years €5 discount
- Please ensure you are present 10 minutes before the start.
- Accessible to everyone; including those with mobility impairments
- Participation is at your own risk.
