100 Bags from the Wâlden, WâldSmûk

What started with a single bag grew into a colourful challenge: could at least 100 bags be made, all inspired by the Wâlden? The answer can be seen during the autumn holidays in the park — when all the bags will be on display for everyone to admire.
Bags created using a wide range of techniques, materials and stories come together in one exhibition.
They radiate not only creativity and craftsmanship, but also a deep connection with the Wâlden — with reuse, sustainability, and with one another.
The exhibition begins in the Glass Pavilion, where visitors can pick up a map and a booklet with background stories. For children, there’s a fun treasure hunt leading them past all the bags.
The Pavilion and the Villa are open during the autumn holidays from 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the park is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
