Media art festival LUNA has grown into a broad public festival lasting more than two weeks. At LUNA Young Masters and LUNA Currents in the Stationskwartier, the focus is on new makers, development, experimentation and depth. LUNA Nights offers three evenings of media and light art by renowned Dutch and international artists at numerous locations throughout Leeuwarden’s city centre.
This edition sees around thirty artists exploring the human scale. Artificial Intelligence is developing at a dizzying pace — how do we remain in control? Artists, experts and audiences are invited to reflect on how we can use technology in a meaningful, considered and humane way.
