The walk takes you past several well-known churches and (former) monasteries, such as the Grote of Jacobijnerkerk, the Westerkerk, and St Boniface Church. But attention is also given to the smaller and lesser-known Houses of God, including the Synagogue, Lutheran, Walloon and Mennonite Churches on Wirdumerdijk — the latter of which remained hidden from street view until 1832.
