Leeuwarden’s Jewish community has a history spanning more than 350 years. For many years, Leeuwarden was the centre of Jewish life in the northern Netherlands.
The period around the Second World War in particular has left its mark on the city. Take a moment to reflect at the Jewish Memorial and hear the story of the former Jewish School.
