Prinsentuin Concerts - Mojo Man & No Saint
Sunday 10 August
Mojo Man is a 10-piece powerhouse blues, rock and soul revue that combines the unmistakable sound of the Mojo Horns with a strong grooving rhythm section. Their blues, rock and soul is strongly influenced by the sound of the 60s and 70s. American Rock and Roll and British soul are unmistakably present. They affectionately call it ‘Balls and Horns’. Shortly after recording their unreleased second album in 2017, the band broke up. Mojo Man is now rising from the dead with a brand new studio album called “Love and Revolution” that was released at the end of last year. Mojo Man: a blues, rock and soul revue!

The 32-year-old Sipke Visser from Veen derives his love for the somewhat dark side of Americana roots music from his great heroes such as Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and the devil makes three. With his own repertoire and somewhat sinister, dark voice he slowly but surely knows how to grab you by the throat. Throw this in the mix with a number of deserving musicians and you have the perfect recipe for an unforgettable afternoon with No Saint!
