With a unique lid, a teapot gains a new, surprising and playful character. After modelling, the lid is painted using an underglaze technique. Before the workshop begins, you’ll draw inspiration from the work of Bouke de Vries during an exclusive guided tour of the exhibition UNBROKEN — with special attention to Delft Stack 3: a pagoda-like tower composed of 18th-century Delft blue lids, stacked by De Vries himself. The work offers a playful reference to the history of Delftware and the reuse of historic ceramics.
