The Apollo Ensemble consists of highly dedicated musicians who see music as a vital life force. Drawing on more than five centuries of music history, from Monteverdi to Stravinsky, we select the finest chamber music and breathe new expressive life into these works. Our repertoire is versatile and surprising, ranging from Bach to Brazilian opera. We perform in the Netherlands and abroad, organise the annual Apollo Summer Academy, and present Festival Via Musica, a chamber music festival held each August in Flevoland.
