National Windmill Day – De Hoop Windmill in Stiens

There’s plenty to enjoy during this festive day—freshly made pancakes, along with coffee, tea, and lemonade.
On Saturday, May 9, the De Hoop Windmill is opening its doors for National Windmill Day. Between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm, they are extending a warm welcome to all for a visit of their windmill free of charge.
Delicious pancakes will be freshly prepared, and coffee, tea, and lemonade will be ready for you! The proceeds of the day will go to the canoe club De Hydronauten. Two of their members, both with extensive experience in hospitality, will be baking the pancakes. They’re delicious—and you’ll be supporting a great cause at the same time. Payment can be made in cash or by card.
