Are you ready to kick off 2026 with some loud clapping (and no, we don’t mean firecrackers, but a big round of applause for poetry)? 👏👏👏 Then join us on the very first Wednesday of the year for Woorden op Woensdag (Words on Wednesday)! Hear a poem, strike up a conversation, enjoy a drink, maybe even shed a tear. 🤩 We’d love to see you at Podium Explore!
Every first Wednesday of the month, our café becomes the living room for everyone who calls themselves — or would like to call themselves — a poet (and all their friends).
Come and enjoy beautiful poems, readings, songs and stories by our guest artists. Afterwards, the stage is open to everyone during the open mic, so if you have a poem that deserves to be heard, this is your chance!
