Vouwen voor Vrede (Folding for Peace) at Museum Warten is a warm and colourful exhibition dedicated to 80 years of freedom. Using various techniques, the crane — a symbol of hope and peace — is brought to life: on canvas, through paper cutting, in words, and in images. At the heart of the exhibition stands the Peace Woman, dressed in more than a thousand paper cranes. Throughout the museum season, workshops in the art of origami will be offered.
