Nest | Theater Muto
Saturday 2 August
A poetic, non-verbal and comical clown performance
A father and daughter, both equally stupid, celebrate Gabriëla to the point of absurdity. With their warped thinking and subtle humour, they lose themselves in a playful world where wonder is central. ‘Nest’ is a moving and comical performance about generations, the love of circus arts and the power of play.
In this silent clown performance, Theatre Muto takes you into a diorama of object manipulation and inertia, in which the audience is immersed up close in an intimate and poetic experience. Stef and Fien Geers create a maximum experience with minimal means, in which every small gesture has a grand effect.
Get carried away in a world where language is superfluous, humour forms the connection and the smallest movement tells a story. ‘Nest’ is an ode to play, family and the ability to be in the moment.
