AquaZoo Leeuwarden celebrates its 20 year jubilee and treats everyone to a beautiful event this Spring. From April 1st till June 18th, you come face to face with our new inhabitants during the Ocean Bricks in AquaZoo exposition! These lifesized statues from extraordinary ocean animals can be seen throughout the whole park. One of the creations is a killer whale with its baby, made out of 223.259 Bricks stones. It has a weight of more than 1100 kilos and it took over 550 hours to build it. Next to all the statues, you can find info signs with information about the animal, the amount of Bricks stones used, its weight and a lot more. There is also an educational part to this special exposition, because visitors are able to learn more about animals which are normally not to be found in the park. So, block your agenda, from April 1st till June 18th in AquaZoo Leeuwarden.
