Old Timer City Tour

Van Ravesteijn Theater & Events and Het Andere Museum have started an Oldtimer City Tour. This tour was created to give people with disabilities the opportunity to explore the Cultural Capital. The old-timers regularly drive in the center. As co-driver you will find J.J. Slauerhoff, Mata Hari, Escher, Troelstra or Nynke van Hichtum.

The tour is for a maximum of 2 people. You will be picked up from the home address, hotel or other location in the city. The passengers choose in advance which celebrity they want as a co-passenger. They hear the history of the city from the mouth of the celebrities who were born in Leeuwarden.

Travelers can choose from three unique old-timers that enhance the atmosphere of the past. They tour the main sights of the city.

This tour was created with the idea that everyone should be able to enjoy the city and its history. For example,  residents in a care home, the mentally handicapped or people with walking difficulties. But bridal couples, marriage proposals and romantics are also welcome to step into the oldtimer and experience the city. Back in time with the Liwwadders who were there.

Prices

  • Adults€195.00 The price includes a 1.5 hour tour, including picking up from a hotel of your choice. You can choose to end your tour with high tea (€17.50 surcharge). Unfortunately, our vintage car can hold a maximum of two people.
