Maren | Our social queen: can turn the tiniest news item into an exciting reel, always comes up with refreshing (design) ideas, and lets out a little scream when she gets scared.

Gideon | Our technical wizard: looks at ads, traffic, structures the open data platform (ODP), wants to become a cowboy when he grows up, and can turn a pile of numbers into a logical story.

Annelotte | Visitor Center Coordinator: manages an entire team, works 8 days a week, and networks like no other.

Philip | Manager of Many Things: no Excel sheet is too complicated for him, he is our greatest ambassador, keeps a tight grip on our purse strings, and takes care of press trips and drinks.

Ida | Head of Marketing: our communications advisor, always knows the right thing to say, has a notepad no one understands, and hops from meeting to appointment to work visit.

Annemarie | Online marketing and communication: concerns herself with everything you can read online, corrects language errors everywhere (to everyone's annoyance), and gives the plants too little water. The team is much more productive when Annemarie is not in the office.

Visitor Center

The Visitor Center is Leeuwarden's tourist information point. Located at the foot of our iconic Oldehove, every visitor can easily find us. Our staff are ready to answer your questions 7 days a week. In the Visitor Center, you will find – in addition to informative flyers – free city maps, you can book tickets for activities such as canal boat tours, and do-it-yourself walking tours are available for purchase.

Directions

The Visitor Center is open Monday through Saturday from 09:00 to 17:00 and on Sundays from 13:00 to 17:00. Planning to visit us? Great! You can find us at Heer Ivostraatje 1.
