In De Brouwerij is a Grand Café, brewery, and hotel in the vibrant center of Leeuwarden. At In De Brouwerij, you are immersed in the world of beer. How was beer brewed in the past, and how is it done today? One thing is certain: you are in for a truly memorable experience. Drink and dine in a place where the brewing kettles and beautiful ceilings enhance the ambiance. And did you know that the coach house used to stand right here, on this exact spot?

There were once more than 100 city breweries in Leeuwarden. Sadly, the last city brewery closed its doors in 1865. Since the arrival of In de Brouwerij, the city can once again enjoy a unique hospitality venue, combining the allure of the past with the ultra-modern elements of the present.

The hotel features 11 atmospheric and comfortable hotel rooms. The rooms are located on the top two floors of the former coach house. You can choose the elite suites on the top floor or the workers' suites one floor below. They are all modern rooms equipped with every convenience. The rooms all have a distinctive atmosphere and a fantastic view of the inner courtyard, the brewery, or the Zaailand.
