Tasty days at Dekema State
Dekema State opened its doors at the beginning of April with a tasty mini-exhibition entitled: The historic kitchen garden; a peek into the kitchen.
Thanks to financial support from the PB Culture Fund and other generous donors, among others, visitors can learn about the development around the kitchen garden in earlier times. With text, images and a beautifully informative booklet about Dekema's gardens, viewers can get their fill. Inspiration on cooking and preserving techniques will also be touched upon using Occa Ripperda's extraordinary 17th-century cookbook.
And, of course. there will be plenty to do for the kids, too! With a scavenger hunt in the state or the QR scavenger hunt outside where, on the basis of an exciting story, the garden secrets of Dekema State
are revealed by Occa Tocca!
