Security guards Es (Yuli Minguel) and Wietske (Hiske Oosterwijk) have been given the task of securing a special work of art, namely a huge empty ceramic painting frame. The artwork causes tension between the two ladies and Es decides to take action, but at what cost? When in the ceramic frame Siderion, a black servant of Marijke Meu, comes to life, Es and Wietske, led by him and with song and dance by Untold, are led along the slavery history of Curaçao, Suriname, Africa and Fryslân. What will they discover in the past and what will they take back to the present?
