BoskLab: Lucila Kenny - Revealing the Chromatic Dimension of Bosk

Nature activist Lucila Kenny discovers what the Bosk trees offer in terms of color and how we deal with their hidden properties. During the residency period – the period that she takes up a temporary studio in Fryslân – she works on a series of studies by examining a number of specific tree species from Bosk for their color properties. She will exhibit the results at the end of the period. Lucila Kenny can also be seen in 'Binnenwoud'.

COLORS OF BOSK

COLORS OF BOSK

A walk with eco activist Lucila Kenny & theater maker Jasmin Hasler. An invitation to explore, to the trees of Bosk and let the trees activate your senses to deepen our connection with our natural environment and to remain curious.
We want to experience together the qualities that the trees produce and share with us. We want to exchange and reflect on the invisible colors, the hidden spectrum. We wish to stimulate interconnectivity.

The 'walks' with Jasmin Hassler are on August 6th at 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Suitable from 8 years old. The walk is in English and Dutch.
Sign up here for the walk.
The meeting point is at Blokhuispoort.

From 3 to 14 August, Lucila Kenny's work can be seen in Obe, as part of the exhibition “If trees can walk”.
On 3, 4 and 5 August Lucila will also be present in Obe.
