Triathlon Leeuwarden
Triathlon Leeuwarden will once again be organized in the Frisian capital on Saturday 22 July 2023. The Location for the event is the De Groene Ster recreation area, which forms a wonderful base for the swimming, cycling and running courses.
While swimming in the water of the Kleine Wielen, cycling along the Bonkevaart with the iconic finish of the Elfstedentocht and running through the De Groene Ster recreation area, you will experience in different ways what the Frisian capital and surroundings have to offer!
The idea of Triathlon Leeuwarden is that every participant can complete this sporting challenge at his/her own level. By organizing a recreational triathlon, the organization aims to offer a sport event in which the fun in these sport(s) forms the basis for both beginners and more advanced triathletes.
