Every season, the Noord Nederland Orkest (North Netherlands Orchestra) and permanent guest conductor Antony Hermus perform one of the symphonies with which Gustav Mahler made history. This time we will hear his best-known work: the Fifth, which contains so many grand and compelling mood swings that it turns you into a different person. You will also hear Claude Debussy's fascinating Jeux, a ballet about two ladies and one young man who experience a romance on the tennis court.
