Ties has a very best, but invisible friend: Gozert! Together they experience fantastic adventures. Going troll hunting, protecting children from boredom by stealing a Roman pot from the museum, or saving children from monsters at daycare.
Because of those adventures, Ties also regularly gets into trouble. Ties's parents think it is better for Gozert to disappear and send Ties to Hopeful House. There, they try to separate Gozert and Ties using medication and therapy, but Ties doesn't want to get rid of Gozert at all. Does Ties choose Gozert or what everyone wants for him? Does Ties say goodbye to Gozert to conform to what is considered normal, or does he choose his friend with all the consequences that entails?
Gozert is a musical, imaginative performance full of humor that highlights an important social issue. It is time to be different, it is time for Gozert!
