Commemoration Indie Monument Friesland

On Wednesday, August 30, the 31st commemoration of the soldiers who left Friesland and died in the former Dutch East Indies and/or New Guinea will be held. This commemoration will take place in the Rengerspark in Leeuwarden at the monument De Deadewacht. During the ceremony wreaths will be laid by family members of the fallen soldiers, military and former military and civilian organizations. There will also be speeches.
