This year, chief conductor Eivind Gullberg Jensen is conducting the St Matthew Passion, a penetrating, compelling and recognisably human story about love and hate, friendship and betrayal, grief and comfort. And all to perhaps the most poignant music ever written. Every year, the Noord Nederlands Orkest performs a quirky version of Bach's compelling masterpiece. This year too, the NNO is sharing the stage with a star-studded cast of soloists.
