Opera choir Amadeus from Leeuwarden is performing Willem Tell, Rossini's last opera. Without sets and costumes, the choir, accompanied by Filharmonie Noord with conductor Tjalling Wijnstra, let the music speak for itself. A great opera experience with wonderful arias about the famous Willem Tell, who pierced an apple on his son's head with an arrow and is still considered Switzerland's foremost freedom fighter.
